Please remember that many items are shipped direct from my suppliers in, other locations- and that often a customer orders several items, each possibly being shipped either from my shop or from a different supplier, often resulting in several packages shipping from several different suppliers, from several different locations, each with a SEPARATE shipping charge, and whens each of these locations shipping charges are added up, that I must pay to my suppliers to fulfill just one customer's order, it may come up to even more than that customer paid me for shipping, if the added locations packages are possibly shipping from, total more than what the customer paid, because when one customer order contains items that must be shipped from several different locations (perhaps one or a few items shipping from my location, added to possibly one or more additional products shipping from suppliers in several different locations, making for several separate shipping charges added together on my end, while the customer is only being charged one shipping charge, based upon weight, (but that does not take into account that each supplier will charge ME a MINIMUM of $7-9 or more,(usually each box sipped is $11.30) for EACH package shipped), so shipping out from these different suppliers often puts me in the hole because I have to pay the WHOLE shipping fee. ^^(Usually these suppliers will only ship via more expensive UPS), and I must pay my supplier all those shipping charges; so for that reason, and because I still have to pay for shipping. ...so even without offering free shipping,, frankly, I can easily end up in the hole, or at least with no income for all the work I do, which is not smart.

Large quantities of heavy wood toys, larger bags of food, and heavy cages and playstands are VERY expensive to ship and I end up paying that cost, so I CANNOT afford to offer free shipping anymore on a $199 plus food, or toy or any other product order EXCEPT cage liner orders of now $299 or more (even that minimum has gone up with the manufacturer and custom cutter's recent price increases and recent increase free shipping minimums.)

So for all of the above reasons, shipping can end up to cost more than you want to pay, but I wil double check the shipping charge to be sure you do not get charged more for shipping than I am paying.

For all of the above reasons, a long-winded explanation of how and why I simply can no longer offer free shipping as I did before on all orders of $199 or more (many of those orders end up being so heavy that the cost of shipping them is taking a toll on me as the above long-winded explanation illustrates.

I just cannot afford to offer free shipping anymore even for a large dollar amount order, unless the supplier is offering free shipping, (as in the case of a $299 cage liner order-which IS eligible for free shipping (liners only @$299 order. If the supplier is offering to pay the shipping, you will get that benefit, and I will notify you of that, but that is rare, and usually only on $299 total of ONLY CAGE LINERS, not other products
