It is crucial that your birds' cages are large enough for their needs. It is inhumane to keep birds in many of the cages on the market today. It's not uncommon to find a parakeet living in a 12x10x16 cage. If you think that's humane, you need to think twice.

We recommend the minimum cage size for a parakeet to be 18x14x35 and we actually prefer our customers to put their parakeets in our 30x18x36 cage. Of course, we carry a wide range of larger cages for parrots too!

While we do sell a few small cages, we recommend these cages only be used as night cages or travel cages and we will say so right in the description.
