Guess again.
Unfortunately, the sad fact is that there are more and more birds ending up in rescues each and every day. Abandoned, abused, unwanted - it's truly heartbreaking.
We all know that there are too many puppies and too many kittens - it's time to take responsibility for the fact that there are too many birds in need of homes too. Before you consider purchasing a feathered friend, please consider adoption. Rescues like Fine Feathered Friends Sanctuary have so many loveable birds up for adoption. Won't you consider giving one a home?
Birdie Bazaar applauds the efforts of Fine Feathered Friends Sanctuary. The organization is run by Sandi Meinholz and she is truly an angel to the many birds in need of rescuing. A percentage of all profits made by this website will be donated to Fine Feathered Friends in support of their admirable work.
Milo, the African Grey belonging to one of the BirdieBazaar.com owners, came from Fine Feathered Friends. Milo is truly an amazing bird and is loved dearly. Milo is proof that not all rescue birds are "problem birds". He doesn't have a single bad habit and is better behaved than most of the African Greys we know. Sure, there are birds that need extra TLC and have to learn that not all humans are bad, but don't they deserve a home too?
Please consider supporting Fine Feathered Friends Sanctuary. Visit their website, look around and familiarize yourself with the plight of the parrots we have all come to love and hold dear. With so many ugly things happening in the world, the efforts of Fine Feathered Friends Sanctuary and the wonderful things they do are truly a breath of fresh air and this organization deserves our support.
